A researcher from the Software Engineering group has won an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at the 2nd International ACM/IEEE International Conference on AI Engineering - Software Engineering for AI (CAIN 2023), a prominent conference in the growing field of Software Engineering for AI-enabled systems.
Specifically, Daniel Feitosa, together with his co-authors from TU Delft, Tim Yarally, Luíz Cruz, June Sallou and Arie van Deursen won the award for the paper Uncovering Energy-Efficient Practices in Deep Learning Training: Preliminary Steps Towards Green AI. The publication was based on the MSc thesis of Tim.
